Pope Benedict is resigning.

BRB. Picking jaw up off of the floor. I didn't know Popes could do that. Apparently, no one else did, either; the last one to retire did so almost six hundred years ago.

(And the United Synagogue found a replacement for Rabbi Sacks. Will wonders never cease?)

I've received a review on AO3 in what appears to be Icelandic. I'm . . . not entirely sure what to make of this. Has anyone else received one like it?

Blizzard.

Already, six or seven inches of snow, with the storm due to last at least another fifteen hours. Sometimes, the wind is so strong that the snow falls up.
